The View - TELLURIDE

The only view you will get here is disappointment. We waited 2hrs upon our reservation to be brought any food. When our meals arrived I’m pretty sure they cooked it in the village and sent it up on the gondola because it was all cold. I recommend you don’t waste your time or money with this spot, it will ruin your travel experience to Telluride. Meal type: Dinner

Don't read the other low start reviews. We had an amazing meal. 5 Stars! The lobster bisque was perfect. The Salmon was cooked to perfection as was the Chicken Limone. We had an absolutely shocking experience this morning with a member of the staff at this restaurant. We walked in and there was no host stand, we saw others seating themselves so we sat ourselves at a table as well. We waited for service for about 10 minutes, when a woman with dark hair and a cowboy hat approached us and aggressively asked if we were with the party upstairs. When we said no, she said this table is reserved, you need to move , along with other extremely rude comments about us finding somewhere else to sit. She ripped a cloth napkin off of the table in disgust that we had touched it. I understand our mistake for sitting at a reserved table (although we had no way of knowing this), but the way she spoke to us was completely unacceptable. We left the restaurant.

The special Fungi Fix 4 Course dinner experience in celebration of the Telluride Mushroom Festival was really lovely! I had a hard time choosing between the 3 entree options because everything sounded amazing. I ended up loving my choice of the Roulade! The themed cocktails and service were also great. Lots of tasty sounding options for the non-mushroom lovers in your party too. TLDR: I died and went to mushroom heaven Service: Dine in

Absolutely the worst service I’ve ever experienced. We had pre-arranged for our group to come in and had a preset meal. We did not receive our food for 2 hours! That’s not an exaggeration. We asked for bread to tide us over while we continued to wait and they said “it would take too long.” Completely unacceptable experience. It wasn’t just our group that was waiting for hours, it was seemingly the entire restaurant. If you want cold food and a long wait, go to The View.
