French food on the mountain overlooking Telluride Co! Do I need more?

What a beautiful place to take a break from skiing at Telluride. It was sunny and 45 degrees that day. Comfortable seating.

I had an amazing lunch at this restaurant! The views were incredible and the food was delicious. It's difficult to choose just a few dishes, but the mushroom soup and French onion soup were the best we've ever had - anywhere! The poutine was excellent, a top-notch version of a comfort meal. Luke, the gentleman who runs this fantastic place, is knowledgeable about the wine list. I will definitely be returning to Bon Vivant every time I visit Telluride for a ski tour. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!

It is quite a challenge to dine at this restaurant, as you must arrive early and wait in line due to its small size. It can be tough to find, especially since it is not open every day of the week and is not prominently featured on the hiking map. However, the food was delicious, although the menu is somewhat limited, and it is a step above your average cafeteria. Be prepared to spend over $50 per person if you want to enjoy a drink along with your meal.

I absolutely adore this place! Arrive at 10:45 on a sunny day and have a fantastic time! After six days of eating chili and gumbo on the mountain, we were craving something different on day six. I'm already looking forward to returning.
