We visited L’Escapade on two evenings during a one-week stay at a nearby gîte. It was a half-hour walk along unlit farm tracks but well worth the trek. It is what you always hope a roadside French restaurant to be: unpretentious, with a friendly welcome and an emphasis on top quality fresh ingredients, well cooked. Great value too! Family and friendly restaurant. I have been going there for many years. The owners are extremely friendly, the service is great, and the food is super good and inexpensive.
