Nice place but small and busy, you need to book as Newport tends to shut down early We enjoyed our meal although I little expensive, don't expect n India style restaurant, more modern traditional pub. View all feedback.
1st time in on a Friday evening: Guinness was a good temperature with a perfect draw. Food was outstanding! Prompt service from happy staff. Definitely recommended and will be back.
First time eating here, really tasty food, good amount of meat in the curry, staff were good, food brought out quickly and hot, great atmosphere, keema naan definitely not the best, overall a really nice meal and would go back.
Will 100% be coming back, we are local and this was somehow our first time trying it. I saw it voted as one of the top Indians in Shropshire and it lives up to the name. Best curry we have had. Service was also excellent and fast.
Always 5 stars for The Shakespeare. Never had an average meal. Great food, great service, great atmosphere.
