The atmosphere at the restaurant was very pleasant, the staff were friendly, but unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The restaurant was quite busy, so we had to wait a while for our order. My friend ordered potato and leek soup while I ordered baked cod. The soup was thick and unappetizing. My friend complained and they acknowledged it was too thick, but still served it. We only visited due to a minor mix up with a booking elsewhere for a family gathering and it was a very good alternative. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The place was very clean and tidy, which makes a huge difference. Plenty of drink options, and the food was well presented and hot when it arrived. I'd definitely recommend the onion rings "doughnuts in particular. Will certainly be calling in again.
Beer was good, wait for meal was slow as no one else appeared to be eating, but in the end worth the wait
