The food at this restaurant is fantastic. The tikka meat is tender and delicious, all freshly prepared and full of flavor. The service is excellent, with friendly staff creating a great atmosphere in the pub. We stayed for drinks afterwards and had a lovely evening. I highly recommend this place. View all feedback.
What David Jordon doesn't like about The Hop And Vine:
This restaurant was disappointing. The food was bland and lacked flavor. I've never felt the need to add salt to a curry before. The service was average. The chef seemed arrogant and when we mentioned that the tikka masala was more like tomato soup, his response was that we should have requested it spicier. However, we ordered tikka masala, not soup. The starters are to share. Large and really good. The fish pakora are delicious and the chilli sauce spicy and hot.
Perfect food, friendly staff and a lovely environment will be coming back for sure!
Popped in Sunday with the family. Outstanding food! Mixed grill for the starters and then butter chicken and Lamb Keema for mains! Everyone enjoyed it and the atmosphere was amazing!! If you havent been yet?… why not?!!?!?
Fantastic meal in a lovely environment. Plenty of food, we shared the mixed grill between 4, with a couple of curries and some sides. Everything was stunning.
Had a great time! Lovely food and really fun quiz/game night!!!!
