Visited on September on Brazilian for a romantic evening! The atmosphere was amazing with attentive and extremely pleasant staff. Nothing was too much trouble and the quality of the food was second to none. Great value for money with an endless combination of food options. What Ұйықбай Иса doesn't like about Jenko's Mongolian Barbecue:
Not at all what we expected or is advertised on the website. I will be contacting trading standards. Absolutely not rodizio style or cooked in the traditional churrasco way. Not a skewer in site!!! Very cheap meat cooked on bbq plate already cut, bone, grizzle...and burnt. I understand we are in a pandemic, but it could be still cooked correctly and sliced from skewer. This also cannot be an excuse as not one member... View all feedback.
Me and my partner went here for a date night and we were not very impressed with the service, food and price. Service was slow even though it wasn't very busy tables when we entered and when we left). The food was bland,...over cooked and some were burnt beyond exceptable standards. The chips tastesed like they were cooked in dirty oil and the only things that had seasoning were the chips and the coleslaw otherwise there was just a strong overuse of garlic in the sides such as mushrooms and potatos. The price was a joke being charged for rum and coke separately when my partner had a rum mixer so instead of the usual for a single we were charged for the rum and for half a coke. We used to love this place but after our experience today we will not be coming back here anytime soon or until they bring back the Mongolian BBQ. I'm a chef so I know what I'm talking about with the food.
Such a shame as used to be so good and such a fun place to eat. Was told that tonight was Brazilian night rather than Mongolian BBQ which I thought was a shame but I didn’t read the website so that’s my fault. We picked...the three side dishes each. The little platter of nibbles (garlic bread and grilled pineapple) was nice but nothing else could be offered to the gluten free member of our party. The sides then arrived and probably about ten minutes later the platter of meat arrived. The gluten free platter of meat arrived about minutes later. When we ordered a glass of Shiraz and Merlot (the only red wines on the menu) the waitress asked if they were red or white. She was generally quite abrupt and lacking in customer service. Generally the staff seemed unhappy to be there and like they wanted us to leave. There were only two other tables on a Friday night. It always used to be packed. The meat was chewy. I wasn’t sure what meat was which. I personally like to know what I’m eating. No offer of coffee or desserts. It was clear they wanted us to leave. When we went to the till to pay they were playing loud rap music with expletives. I wouldn’t go again sadly. Sorry it’s not how it used to be as they had a pretty unique offering in Telford.
Cold food and glass in one of the food dishes not worth the money it cost even after some discount still over priced for what is was
Delicious! Lots of neat, veg and gravy. Could have done with one more roast potato but there was so much other stuff! Deffo recommend
