Highly recommended! The breakfast was one of the best I ever had, friendly staff and very relaxing atmosphere.

I rely heavily these days on online reviews to choose where to eat, where to stay, where to shop, etc., like everyone else does. This small cafe, attached to a nursery, and off Highway 6 on a sideroad in Tehkummah, I would never have found otherwise, so thanks internet.The hostess, seeing the sorry state of two city boys after a lousy night in blown-down tents, could tell we needed an uncomplicated but large amount of food and coffee. And what elaborate choices there were - soelaborate that when she asked what I wanted, I looked at the menu and uttered whatever words crossed my vision. Whatever it was I said arrived at the table quickly, and what a pile of goodness it was: perfect pemeal bacon, pierogies and sour cream, and a mountain-sized omelet, fresh fruit and jam. Even the toast was above par, and how often do you notice the toast?Add to that the layout of the restaurant lies partly inside the actual greenhouse surrounded by flowers and plants (where we sat), in addition to a main dining area (the shed itself, presumably) and an outdoor patio, and it really puts this place in the upper echelon of breakfast sheds. Well done!

What a treat - a beautiful and comfortable place in a lovely setting. The service and hospitality was friendly and so welcoming. The food and the variety of choices were excellent - we had a lovely couple of breakfasts, with delicious coffee and some very pleasant service by the host.We are delighted to have found this little treasure - lucky us!

The Garden Shed Cafe is truly a gem, needless to say it was the first place we stopped at upon arriving and the last place before leaving... plus we had breakfast there every day. There are too many good things to say... so our only recommendation would be to go and enjoy a meal whenever you are on the Island, you will not be disappointed, and my children have peanut allergy and eating here is extremely safe.Great news... 2017 will not be the Cafe's final year, their last day for this season will be Sunday, September the 3rd, but the team will be back for 2018 from June to August, Wednesday to Sunday's, 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., breakfast only with a buffet on Sunday's... which only means we'll be back as well :)Thank you as always and we look forward to seeing you next year!
