An absolute gem, although not widely known about. I'd argue this was the best place on the island for fresh cakes, pastries and bread! Their coffee is top notch and all the locals pop in for their fresh bread! I've been coming here for a number of years and always had exceptional food. I appreciate this being outside of the touristy areas, as it just feels more authentic. If you are looking for fine pastries away from the touristy crowds this is the place to go. It is 1000% worth the drive even if you are down in Playa Blanca! You won't be disappointed!
Rumor has it that this is the best place in Lanzarote to get your cakes and pies. So for my birthday we got 2 type of apple cakes here, they were very yummy and I would definitely visit again. Extra tip, do not cross the road by car if your on the opposite side but use the roundabout to turn. It's not allowed to cross roads there and since it's a popular place, people are probably a bit fed up with it and let you know.
We make a point of going whenever in Lanzarote. The range of cakes and bakery items is superb and the bread to take away is a must. The value is the best you will find on the island, three coffees and four great cakes for fourteen euros in October 2022, and a loaf to take away for one euro.
Terrible service. After about 5 minutes waiting at the counter to be served we realized that other customers were coming in after us and were being served before us. At one point a member of staff looked straight passed us to a young woman behind us and served her. Perhaps we were invisible, we certainly felt as if we were. There were lots of staff and they were chatting away to other customers as if they knew them well. We left without buying anything and went to Teguise where the local restaurants are much more tourist friendly and got some food there. I would love to hear why you wouldn't serve us?
