We came across this by chance when walking from the Coronas Playa Hotel in Costa Teguise on our way to Arrecife. we stopped in to purchase some water and that's when we saw the menu and agreed that on our return journey we would stop off for lunch. Walking time between both locations , approximately 25 -30 minutes The first thing we had to overcome was the language. Me, a little Spanish, the bar staff ,slightly less English. One phrase of paramount importance to me was Sin Gluten ,I am celiac so all my food has to be Gluten Free (GF) and almost immediately we were on the same wavelength. So we put our order in and sipped two gin and tonics . Well can I say we were not disappointed , we had a paella each(GF) along with croquet potatoes and the most delicious meat stew(GF) which tasted like lamb but might have been goat. Whatever it was , it was delicious and very good value . Plus the drink prices were way cheaper than the Costa Teguise equivalents. While we were there were a number of workmen, drivers ,locals and some others all popping in for a quick bite . Always a good sign. Give it a go , you will not be disappointed. As I said this was the find of the holiday.

Went to this restaurant on recommendation of where we were staying as we like to eat where the locals go.Went on a Monday evening at 6.30 pm. By then they had run out of most of the Tapas. The main course fish of the day we had was very disappointing-was plain with no flavour. As others have mentioned they only speak Spanish.

This gem is a well kept secret. At lunchtime it is busy and bustling. There is an excellent 3 course menu but the tapas are wonderful and the majority are between 2.50 Euros and 3. One of my favourites is pulpo in mojo which is very tender octopus in a local spicy sauce. In the evening it becomes more of a restaurant and is a lot quieter but the food is good, cheap and spanish and highly recommended.

Excellent meal! We visit everyone we come and the service and food is second to none! Both my children were well looked after and their food was cooked first so they didn't have to wait!

This restaurant is on a main bus route but far enough from the hotel complexes not be overwhelmed by lots of tourists. We stumbled on the place and were very happy we did. With tiled floors and walls and a very impressive bar area the decor does not disappoint. The seafood was excellent, the wine and beer was very good and the food was great. This fast became one of our favourite places to eat.
