After the service we received we changed our minds (actually considered leaving before the first drink arrived! my daughter was sat holding the menu when a man who worked there sternly told me he had taken it off her as she wasn’t allowed it?! She was doing no harm just quietly looking at the pictures. Had this been approached more politely perhaps we wouldn’t have minded (albeit a strange request the man was rude during our whole visit and made us feel like a complete inconvenience. After our first drink he was about to get us another before my partner told him we wouldn’t be having another. Didn’t get chance to ask for the bill before he swiped the glasses and stormed off. As a parent I’d really rather people approached me and allowed me to deal with whatever the problem may be rather than taking it upon themselves to snatch directly from a toddler who doesn’t understand. Unacceptable behaviour.

This was the first of several visitswhen we were looking for comfort food. Their omelettes, jacket potatoes and pies are the best. Rashid and Lily make the place!
