It was refreshing to see a menu that was curated with such thought and creativity. You can tell there is a passion for food behind the scenes here. Our waitress was very friendly and welcoming. She was able to recite the specials in great detail and could talk us through any of the dishes on the menu. The service was prompt but never rushed, could not fault it. I had the false lasagne starter. It was layers of aubergine with pulled duck in a sort of hoi sin sauce, topped with parmesan, and it was INCREDIBLE! I could've just eaten it over and over. The other starters were ordered from the specials, which both looked and tasted great too. Our mains were all perfectly cooked and delicious. We received mixed vegetables and potatoes to share between the table with our mains. Unfortunately we were just too full to sample the desserts there is no doubt that we will be returning and will be sure to try them next time. Bica is quite small so booking is probably recommended, and I imagine it will continue to increase in popularity.
