Was Demi Koeman at Bräustüberl Tegernsee a mag?
Speisen waren gut und das Bier spricht für sich! Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und hatte immer ein Lächeln im Gesicht. Wir kommen wieder, wenn wir in der Nähe sind! View all feedback.
What Rainer Ammann dislikes about Bräustüberl Tegernsee:
In dem quirligen Gasthaus findet fast jeder etwas für seinen Geschmack. Urige bayerische Gerichte und ein sehr leckeres Bier. Leider leidet bei dem enormen Durchsatz und der Geschwindigkeit etwas das Ambiente. View all feedback.

It was super cozy, delicious and friendly people. I'd love to go back
Update: someone is trying to take legal action against my review. Food is OK, but nothing special. Vegetarian selection is abysmally bad. It feels like 25 meat dishes versus 2 vegetarian alternatives.
Peaceful, Bavarian, hearty cozy…. Everything is real here!
Super comfortable as a stopover on the way to skiing. Recommended
A beautiful place to meet nice people, delicious food, beautiful hiking trail around the lake. Boat trips, great town hall, nice shopping opportunities, always a pleasure

I came here in 2019 (wouldn't let me pick a date before 2021) with my girlfriend and we had dinner here on one of our first nights in Tegernsee. I had never been to Germany before and I was still getting used to the beauty...of the place and then I tried the food oh my days! But the BEER is truly something else! The helles in particular is probably the best beer in the world and I'm not even exaggerating it people who are experienced tasting beer will know what I'm talking about! I hope to visit again this year if possible! Vielen danke!
We had a trip to Munich and rushed to get a meal around 9pm we were told we had 5mins chose our meal as the kitchen was closingI had a turkey salad which was wonderful very fresh and well worth the quick choice.
Coming to Tengernsee was a very exciting experience for me. Beautiful mountains, astonishing views and lovely winter weather. Coming to this specific restaurant left a very sour taste in my mouth (not literally because the food was lovely). A waitress whom I asked for directions...to the bathroom ignored me blatantly 3 times and i asked a 4th time and she yelled at me 'One minute ' 3 times as though I was some incompetent human. She treated all her other customers with respect except me. So I went and started looking for the bathroom myself. She found me lost and asked me 'WHA 'T ' at which point I told her I was looking for the bathroom and she just stood there pointed in the direction. I am not sure why decided to treat me in particular like sh**t but she did and I am starting to think that she simply did not like me because of the color of my skin. In addition to that as I was walking to the bathroom there was a young man who had his face painted in Black wearing a hat with jamaican colors- clearly doing the whole 'black face ' thing. This is my conclusion: it appears that a country that lives in the shadow of racist past still exists so I suggest you leave this sleepy town that is full of racists who tolerate astonishing appalling behaviour! The food was great but this whole experience has left a very bitter taste in my mouth for Tegernsee generally. My advice to the restaurant owner: As the world becomes more and more interconnected you should know that there will be more diverse looking people who travel and dine in your restaurant. Be more discerning about who you hire, fire those who think they are better than others and keep your brand profile established.
This is what a Bavarian restaurant should be like: a pork based menu, free flowing beer and (very) fair prices. Both times we came here, in the week we stayed on the lake, I had the pork knuckle which was perfectly cooked with a good...layer of crackling. Prices are also more than reasonable: two people can have a main course and a beer for about 30 Euros.

My fiancé and I came to this place while staying for a few days in Tegernsee. We found this to be a very classic beer garden with a variety of food and beer choices! The dessert was absolutely amazing here. Amazing views. Decent price and service was efficient and everyone was very kind. Would overall recommend.
A fabulous place to sit outside by the lake and have a leisurely meal. It has all the charm of a traditional seaside restaurant. It gets quite crowded when the weather is nice so expect to share a table (picnic style with long benches). The wait staff seemed a bit harried but they did a good job at getting things accomplished. The menu is traditional Bavarian fare, yet I saw some salads go by to another table that looked wonderful. I was immediately drawn to one of my favorite entrees, the schweinhaxe. Not so healthy, but ever so good. And it was quite tender and easy to cut and digest. It comes with a Knodle, like bread stuffing. My table mates wanted to have me share some of the tasty fatty skin and since I only had a sliver I was glad to share. It came accompanied with a side of potato salad, German style. The only complaint I'd have is that the food was too salty and I tasted the salt hours later. The setting is just beautiful and besides the backdrop of the lakeside there is the large classic monastery right in back.
We had a few hours to kill before our train so came here for lunch. We shared some sausages and a vegetarian salad. All really good and delicious washed down with some beer. A keeper!
A giant slice of Himmel on the shores of the lake. If you're in Tegernsee, you MUST visit the Braustuberl. Not only do they serve endless half liters of the excellent local beer, but the vibe is utterly, unmistakably Bavarian. The biergarten is huge, with dozens upon dozens of picnic style tables that are expected to be shared with locals and tourists alike. Don't be shy everyone's here for the same reason, to enjoy the gorgeous view of Lake Tegernsee and the outstanding menu items. I ordered the schweinhaxe because, well, it's Bavaria. It was huge, tender, and delicious, and served with a decent side of potato salad. My tablemates ordered a pretzel which was clearly freshly baked and had all the classic trimmings. And all of us, of course, drank a few liters of Tegernseer Helle. And the prices are quite reasonable my dinner and drinks came to less than 20 euro. Service is quick and efficient, even when the restaurant is busy. Servers speak enough English to get the job done, and are friendly in that efficient way that Germans are known for, all while wearing the lederhosen that the tourists like me expect them to be wearing. A great stop for the absolute classic Bavarian experience.
Must stop Beer hall in Tegernsee. Their food is fabulous, authentic and tasty Bavarian food. They brew some of the best beer in Germany. Their Dunkel is great, Helles is loved by locals and their special is terrific. This place is always busy and gets loud. Right next to the lake with outside beer garden as well.

In the best known Bräustüberl, the guest can go well inside and on the Terasse. Fleet service, sauguad's beer and an attractive menu with lunch offer salute our stay. This farm is always worth a visit, not just because of the proximity to the lake.
