The restaurant is spacious with good room between tables but, since my last visit, the King's Head has installed mobile clear screens between the tables for added safety. We both thoroughly enjoyed our choice of courses. I had the pork belly which was beautifully cooked rendering it so tender, followed by the poached pear on brioche. Both absolutely delicious. Had Sunday lunch here last weekend. The roast pork and crackling was excellent along with a good selection of vegetables. The Pistachio soufflé was exceedingly hot so had to be eaten carefully. The restaurant was very busy so service wasOK but not exceptional. However meal was very good value for two courses.
Enjoyed a lovely meal here on Wednesday evening. Great menu with good vegetarian and fish choices and food was beautifully cooked. Bit noisier than expected as there was a large table with some loud laughter but they calmed down after a while. Service was impeccable.
Very friendly service. The waitress was extremely attentive and pleasant.
