The food was fresh, exciting and in a word special. The staff were attentive and the chef showed genuine care for our opinions. The price was 25% of what it would be north of the border.

We had the four course dinner and each was a surprise and left us astonished by the taste, creativity and quality of the pairings and presentations. It is a gem of a find! The service is wonderful and charming. I love the surprise of walking through the kitchen to enter their beautiful dining room. Highly recommend if you visit Tecate.

I really liked a lot about this restaurant. The appetizers were amazing, especially for the price. The fish and the dessert were great. However, the main course, the pichana, was lacking. The quality of the beef was low and was a terrible way to end the meal. Also, the fire alarm was low on battery and beeped every few minutes. No one lets this keep happening in their home so I don't know why it seemed okay to let this happen in the restaurant I was paying to spend time in. I told the waiter it's bothersome and he just said yup, the battery is low so it beeps. It's sad though because I do really like this restaurant otherwise.
