Te Poi Country Tavern

I visited the Te Poi Tavern, and what a wonderful country pub it is! The service was fantastic and welcoming, and the food looked absolutely delicious—truly hearty, home-cooked meals. It's a popular spot for bikers on their rides as well as travelers heading to Tauranga and nearby towns. I've heard it can get quite busy at times, and I can completely understand why! I highly recommend stopping by if you're traveling through Te Poi; you won't be disappointed! I only wish I could have stayed longer!

I stopped by for lunch and ordered a BLT with chips. I was not disappointed! The staff was friendly, and the pub has a charming old-fashioned vibe. I also enjoyed a great conversation with some locals. I hope to come back soon!

I absolutely love this place! It's a true old-fashioned pub with fantastic food. It's currently for sale, and I'm hopeful that whoever buys it will continue the wonderful hospitality.

Great place to stop for a drink and a good meal. Staff are great people and make you feel welcome. Mussels fritters are worth the visit on their own. Others raved about the burgers which also looked great. A must stop on your travels.
