What User doesn't like about Purpur:
A really nice place, especially on a rainy day in Tiblisi. The interior decoration is lovely vintage chic and the music on this day was suitable for the atmosphere. The authentic georgian food is worth it to wait a long time for. I don't know if it is a cultural thing, but the food, even the soup, was never hot, how I think it should be. Definitely worth a visit and to eat here, but bring a lot of time. View all feedback.

So charming! The restaurant is beautifully decorated and still maintains the atmosphere of the early 1900s. Even the toilet looks beautiful! The restaurant is a bit hard to find because it is in the 2nd. The floor of a non-descript old building is in the same block (as of May 2019). Pricewise it is expensive, and only cash is accepted. So I only had enough money for a homemade lemonade (15 GEL) that was good. But if I have an opportunity to visit Tbilisi again, this restaurant would definitely be on my list to try. A beautiful place for appointments. The attention is great. The menu is very diverse and very good. The meat with sauces is very good, expensive but very worth. Also the environment, the design of the restaurant is very good, it is beautiful with touches of antiques. It was a great experience, congratulations to the entire restaurant when I return to Tbilisi, I pay a visit.
I'm shocked! Purple has a unique environment, a charming ambience and relaxing experience. Nice, just warm, just friendly, just great! Every tourist must see PurPur!
This is a magical place tucked away in the corner of a street where construction work is ongoing. We chanced upon it through sheer luck when the tunes from the piano wafted down below to us and drew us in spellbound. The restaurant is an old Georgian house and all the furniture and decor are gorgeous. It is possibly the most beautifully romantic restaurant we have been to. The delicious food and the friendly staff just kept adding to the charm and magic of the place. It indeed felt like we had stepped into wonderland where time stood still.
