Was Živanka Čonkić at Tipulo a mag?
The place is located inside the First Pacific Leadership Academy. They serve great Filipino dishes! Their beef kare-kare, tinapa lumpia, sisig, tortang talong and boneless crispy pata are the top choices. The family will surely love to come back here. View all feedback.
What Alexandrea Ziemann dislikes about Tipulo:
A resto within First Pacific Leadership Academy gives you no choice but to try out its Filipino Cuisine.
Food is a bit overpriced given the quantity of serving. The food is good but not spectacular given the hefty prices.
Service is basically just like an OJT trying to complete the number of hours. You will not get a smile. You will, at its best, get a stare. They're not as attentive. Such a waste of good uniform... View all feedback.

Food was good, but nothing too special. Sisig and Yangchow Rice were great, though. A lot of menu items were out of stock when we went there; probably because we came in at night already. Calamansi juice didn't have much taste but it could be because it's made fresh. We were walk-in guests in line but the wait wasn't too long; about mins. We got to walk around the compound first and took some pictures.Shout to our server, Sir JC; he gave us a warm welcome and some free coffee hehe
I went to Tipulo twice, and both times I had to wait to be seated. Now, this part is mostly understandable, especially since the first time I came, I was a walk-in. The second time, I brought my senior citizen parents with me and duly made reservations so as to avoid making the elderly wait. We waited an hour to be seated when we came. I don't blame the staff at all, I understand this was stressful to them as well, I just hope people who will dine here will know they will have to wait, even with reservations. Also, the menu does not indicate which items will be spicy or the level of spiciness in the dishes. Two of the dishes we had that day (Squid Sisig, Caldereta) were too spicy for my elderly companions to handle. I wish we were informed of this in the menu. Overall, the place is still alluring because of the ambience and the greeneries all around. Like I said, the staff are nice and friendly, apologetic for the inconvenience. This review is not meant to diss on them, but more so to give light to the chaotic reservation and seating system in place.

[1] Waiters are very, very attentive [2] Your event manager Olga makes sure that everything goes well in and outside the kitchen. She's not a snob and bery, very accommodating when we asked about the birthday and wedding celebrations [3] It gave us a different Filipino cuisine experience [4] Cozy atmosphere
