What a fabulous place! I should have written this a long time ago, as I try to get there as often as possible. Great selection of No Frills Tacos loaded with taste. The place transports you to Mexico and has inexpensive menu. In addition to tacos, you can access a spice bar that is more than just salsa. Always friendly and accommodating staff. Very recommended. What User doesn't like about Las Meras Tortas:
I had what seemed like a decent Torta al pastor from here and got heavy food poisoning. I had to get into the emergency room to replace electrolytes and get zofran. I was sick a whole week. Las Meras was very recommended to me, and I felt very disappointed. I normally do not place any negative reviews, but this place has so many positive, I felt as if it is my duty to share my experience. View all feedback.
If you care about this place? Absolutely amazing food and atmosphere here. Authentic Mexican cuisine here. Locals wake up and support this place.
!Mi torta cubana era muy bueno! Let me start of by saying my Cuban Torta was very very good. Awesome! !Asombroso! The staff was very friendly and polite. This was the Taylor's location. Only complaint is no public restroom for the eat in crowd. If you were coming off a job site or walking over from the many businesses around, you would want to be able to wash your hands clean. again !!NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS!!
There are two locations and both are excellent. They have a basic menu of tacos, all the faves, Tortas(subs) a grilled meat with cheese and topped with avocado mayo tomato jalapeno onion, hurraches which is flat corn dough and is the name of a famous sandal made in Mexico hence the name. Then it's fried and topped with smashed pintos cheese, veggies. It's all so good. They have a small salsa bar with a few extras like pickle cactus, pasta salad, corn, pickle onions, potato salad. Everything is fresh and hot and fast and low cost. We love this place I bet you will too.
For better or worse, I’m addicted to their burritos. They are some of the most delicious food I’ve had. The staff is super friendly and the salsa bar is great. 10/10
Definitely recommend! They have the best tortas/burritos!
