What Amanda Channon Singh doesn't like about Taylors:
My husband and I came to your restaurant on Saturday 3rd September 2023, for our wedding anniversary. I chose the chowder and when it arrived, I could barely eat it as it was so, so salty. I told the waitress who told the chef and the chef said it was the fish. Do think the chef tasted the dish!!!.Hake isn’t that salty, I drank copious amounts of water. Experience dining in this restaurant for a different meal type. Expect to spend between £10-£20 per person. The food, service, and atmosphere all scored a perfect 5, making it an exceptional dining experience.
Had a fantastic evening at this restaurant with delicious food and helpful staff. Thank you. There is ample parking available in the evening. We dined in for dinner and loved every bite. The price per person ranges from £30–40. The food, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch with a rating of 5 each. Highly recommend trying the Lemon Meringue Pie. Plenty of parking options with a free parking lot.
This was the best meal we've had on our holiday yet. We arrived at 6:30 on a Monday night and were fortunate to find a table available. Next time, we will make a reservation to ensure we can dine there. We received four fantastic meals, served by lovely staff. Everything was perfect and we couldn't find fault with anything. The service, meal type, and atmosphere were all top-notch, receiving a rating of 5 out of 5. The price per person was between £20-30.
This is an excellent restaurant with friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere. The menu may not be extensive, but it offers a diverse selection that is delicious and well-presented. The food quality is outstanding and the drink selection is good, although they do not have draft beer, bottled options are available. The cocktails are also tasty and beautifully crafted. We were so impressed that we made a reservation to return. I suggest booking a table on the weekend, as they are dog-friendly and will welcome your furry friend.
My family and I visited Taylors restaurant twice during our weekend in Tavistock. The restaurant is lovely and the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. I must say that Tante Paula's carrot cake was to die for! We enjoyed a delicious breakfast, especially the Taylors breakfast and speck sandwiches. I would highly recommend them. A big thank you to the team for their warm hospitality. We can't wait to come back again.
