What Courtney Barnes doesn't like about Molina's Cantina:
We have been frequenting this Molinas for a couple of years now. We go at least once every couple of weeks. The service used to be so great and the food was good. Lately I have noticed the service is not what it once was. We came in we were given chips salsa and the server took our drink order. We sat for at least 10 mins without drinks and there were only a handful of tables with customers in them. We even sat next... View all feedback.

Molina's Cantina truly stands out as the epitome of authentic Mexican cuisine in Texas. The rich flavors, vibrant spices, and exceptional quality of their dishes make it a top recommendation for any occasion – be it a family outing, a romantic date night, or simply a quest for outstanding food. The restaurant's commitment to delivering an authentic culinary experience sets it apart, making it a must-try for those seeking the best in Texan Mexican dining.

First off the service was bad. We ordered the queso and when it arrived we only got the queso, the chips didn't arrive until 10 minutes later when the queso was already getting cold and congealed. Bought a beer and it didn't arrive till 15 mins later. The food was disgusting, the flavor was decent but it was just thrown together on the plate. I had ordered the Molina's special. It came with rice, beans, a tamale a chicken enchilada, a chicken taco and a chicken tostada. The beans and rice had no flavor, the taco shells were crumbling and mushy because of how wet they were. The chili con carne tastes like Wolf brand chili from a can. The tamale was absolutely horrendous I didn't even touch it. The chicken filling was wet and not seasoned. Overall I wouldn't even give it a 1 star review, this place is absolute trash. Save your money and time and just go somewhere else. Taco Bell has more flavor than this place ?
We have been frequenting this Molinas for a couple of years now. We go at least once every couple of weeks. The service used to be so great and the food was good. Lately I have noticed the service is not what it once was. We came in we were given chips salsa and the server took our drink order. We sat for at least 10 mins without drinks and there were only a handful of tables with customers in them. We even sat next to the table that was full of the managers I guess having a meeting and we still waited too long. Also Ive noticed the first basket of chips is stale and cold and when we get a refill they are warm and fresh. I think maybe they are preparing them ahead of time. Please fix this, we really love coming here but if this keeps up we may have to find a new usual spot.
