Best fish chips in Tauranga and (I’m gonna make a big claim here) best hot dogs in NZ. Amazing value for money, especially considering the quality- massive pieces of fish, beautiful crispy batter. The staff is awesome too- really accommodating friendly, and if you’re lucky you might get a free concert from the team while you’re waiting for your order! I can’t ever move out of this neighbourhood now because the humble fish chip has been ruined for me anywhere else!

This fish and chip shop is the best of all time! that should die! how to make it good and it is so consistent. I always run as if it is still good in this world that the team here is always happy, very efficient and it warmed my heart to hear a few lines of everything that is song with sung. You're such a vibe.

The new owners make such an incredible job with this place honestly. nicer recommended! this newly renovated takeaway shop is wonderful, hip and clean and colorful, with sophisticated fast service and really delicious food. if I stayed close, I would really come at least once a week to a delicious affordable tasty bites. the chips were so incredibly well dehydrated and remained crispy and hot when we drove them home, thanks to careful packaging and well placed air holes in the papers to prevent them soggy. the amazing hot dog was definitiw next level with great sausage interior and had a perfect scatter ratio. (so dear that it came with tomato sauce included in the bag. we enjoyed the teigs on everything I loved the tasty crabstick, and the ananas fritte were so great with double layer pineapple and a perfectly balanced zimtsugar coating. amazing worth!

Wow probably one of the best fish and chips I have ever had! She put the fried fish in a separate bag so the batter would not get squashed and soggy. I was not expecting this level of service from a fish and chips shop, and she was right the batter stayed crispy, light and tasted amazing! Would definitely come here again. Highly recommended.
