Tonight's dinner was truly fantastic! I don't think I've ever received such a generous portion. At other places, you usually get just a few pieces and the rest is mostly heavy fillers, but this dish was packed with so much tender meat that it was hard not to spill while eating! What User doesn't like about Cardamom:
I don 't normally post reviews, but we were profoundly disappointed with our meal last night. Not only were they 40min delayed in bringing the food out for us to pick up, but we could tell that the meals had been made very cheaply. The meat dishes consisted of 5 small pieces of meat swimming in sauce and the vegetarian curries were made from bags of frozen veg (broccoli, red capsicum, green beans, corn etc). One of t... This is my favorite Indian restaurant in Tauranga! The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is pleasant, but what truly stands out is the food – it’s fantastic! Definitely worth the price. On my last visit, I ordered butter chicken (I know, a classic), and it was delicious. The menu is extensive, offering a wide variety of dishes, along with a great selection of naan breads, which is wonderful to see. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good Indian restaurant!
$11.99 for curry, rice, naan, poppadom and softdrink you can't go wrong! does not expect much for this price, but the food was great, the service was friendly and the food came quickly. was 3 times in this week, I don't think I have to cook again $6:50 for a child meal of nuggets / hot dogs and chips.
I wish we had such an Indian restaurant near our house! we live in london and have eaten in Indian restaurants throughout the city and in Britain. that's with the best of them. great quality and a lot of portions. If we were living here, it would be normal.
I absolutely love the food here; however, the service can be quite slow. The restaurant seems to be understaffed—just the other night, there were only two people managing everything. This means the lady at the front often has to handle frustrated customers, but she remains very friendly and pleasant. I can't overlook the great food and good people too easily. Just be sure to visit when you have some time to spare. They offer excellent vegetarian options, and I'm a big fan of their samosas and butter paneer!
