Cafe Anatolia Tauranga

Holy God! That was the best Turkish I've ever had, and I'm angry with me that I didn't try it earlier! So much taste packed in a very generous dish of food. Very cheap and the staff was polite, happy and efficient. I highly recommend trying their food Will definitely return.

Had this all the time when we lived in The Awamutu and loved it, right here. Large open dining area, cheerful staff and nice and clean. Had lamb kebab and was delicious as and loaded with meat. Wife had chicken chips with salad and was also massive. Son had cheesy garlic bread, which was also brilliant

Cafe Anatolia is part of the popular chain, but new to Tauranga. Its interior is spacious, airy and attractive, although I will imagine that they need to put more tables in, as more people come here. We had both the chicken and the lamb kebabs with 3 sauces (Garlic yogurt, hummus and hot chili make a terrible good combination). The first thing we noticed is that the packaging was more of a tortilla than a flat bread, so I would like to call it a Turkish burrito. The second thing we noticed is that they were fabulous. In fact, they are quite addicted - we came back to lunch two days later. Note: If you like desserts, they have an impressive selection of bakery goods in their display case, not Turkish, but they looked delicious.

We both had the Keto-Iskender. It was really delicious and a very generous service. Best quality! Maybe an idea to add a small box to the menu.

Loved the service, especially as we were a large group to cater for.
