During my visit to Taupo, I decided to take a walk and soon found myself craving a coffee and a light bite to eat. I came across this restaurant and was immediately attracted by the ambiance. The menu featured tapas, and I chose two dishes that caught my eye; there were several others I would have loved to try if I had been with a group. Had dinner here new years eve, we had no booking and they managed to give us a outside table which was great, the service was very good and we all enjoyed our meals, they seem to have a nice bar/restaurant flow going on... works well.
Very pleasant, really nice food, service alittle slow and had to keep asking for water, they weren't that great at noticing that your glass was empty.
Don't be deceived by pub-like atmosphere! The food was actually pretty good, and service was amazing! We were all impressed, and really enjoyed our meals here!
I got to Taupo every year never knew this place was open during the day until my last visit I'm glad I know now! Fast, friendly attentive service from knowledgeable staff. One particular wine we ordered they had run out of so was offered another with the bar manager recommended it turned out to be better than the one we had originally ordered is now a staple of our wine rack! Looking forward to coming back this year trying more off your menu :
