Weve been meaning to try Lake Bistro since we moved to Taupo and weren't disappointed. We sat on the terrace and caught the end of a sunset and were warm and cozy all night. Taupō’s best hidden local gem! Their pastries are the best in NZ. Such a gorgeous vibe with the cosy fit out, views of the lake. We love the bistro! Both breakfast and dinner menus are delicious. Fresh season produce. Highly recommend you pop in.
Delicious breakfast/brunch amongst leafy enclosed terrace with glorious views of lake and mountains. Turkish eggs, Duck hash and smashed avocado all fab. Perfect coffees too. Highly recommend .
After a long day meeting new people, it was topped off with an awesome experience at the lake Bistro, so good that ten strangers became one. Keep up the good work.
Everything was amazing. From the service, the food, to the setting. Not one complaint. 10/10 highly recommend. We will be back!
