The Neck of the Forest is a great spot for business meetings. It’s a lovely pub just around the corner, very clean, and follows all the necessary COVID regulations. The staff is polite and welcoming, and there’s no need to make a reservation. The pub grub is excellent; I had the turf and surf, and the small rump steak was cooked to perfection—absolutely delicious! There are many decorative touches, including some elephant-themed decor, which adds a nice charm. Overall, it offers good value and great beer. It's a delightful little pub!

"This is a lovely pub featuring a large parking area and a pool table. They have a unique policy where the winner of the pool game stays on for the next challengers, but since we visited on the weekend, it wasn't overly crowded. We enjoyed some delicious cheesy chips, and the staff was friendly. The drinks were also fairly priced."

The pub has a charming old-fashioned atmosphere and a friendly staff. The dining area isn't very spacious, so it's advisable to make a reservation before visiting. The food was both delicious and reasonably priced.

Beautiful atmosphere and very friendly staff and regular. we stumbled over this brilliant pub on google when we were in the opposite and seriously hungry! we sat outside with our three dogs. the waitress was so helpful and really cared for us. eating was amazing; we had the 5 beans chili and the herbal curry that both were founded by the cook for us. highly recommended. we will definitely come back!

Lovely lunch here again today. Made to feel really welcome by Caroline and Malcolm. Dogs welcome in conservatory, great place to stop for lunch on a walk.
