The Globe Inn - Taunton

The restaurant offers a wide variety of lunch options and was able to accommodate our family party of 7, including a couple of members with allergies, without any problems. They also had a selection of good local beers that were well-maintained. I would recommend both the food and drinks here, as well as the prices.

I went for Sunday lunch here as a group of 15 people and the pub could not have been more accomodating. We ordered in advance (given our group's side) but they were incredibly organised with our additional orders on the day and could not have been more pleasant. Adele in particular was delightful and the food (roast dinner for many of us) was delicious!

We made a reservation for a party of thirteen during our family vacation and are happy we chose The Globe for our last evening meal. We were greeted warmly and received excellent service throughout our visit. The food was delicious, high quality, and the portions were very generous. We will definitely return if we are in the area again.

We've just had an absolutely fab evening! The food here is perfect, I had the belly pork and it's the biggest piece of pork I've seen! Cooked perfectly and **** delicious! The pub was full by the time we ordered but not noisy or imposing, really relaxed and comfortable. We were really well looked after, the staff were very welcoming, polite and attentive. I only wish I had room for desert!

Holiday visit and staying in the village so we decided to give it a try. Food was excellent, filling, and above all thoughtfully decent. Staff were good natured and friendly, customer friendly which makes all the difference these days. Will come back again when I'm in the area.
