However, I believe that bad food should not be tolerated, so I feel it is necessary to leave an honest review. The restaurant's prices should be reduced by 50% to match the quality of the food. Despite being called a French restaurant, they serve a variety of cuisines including American, English, Italian, Mexican, and Indian, which is concerning. The French Onion soup was mediocre and served with supermarket French bread. The main course, a steak with roast potatoes, vegetables, and mushroom sauce, lacked seasoning and flavor. The roast potatoes appeared to be pre-packaged and lacked crispness. The vegetables were unnaturally colored and tasteless. My girlfriend ordered Louisiana Chicken, which tasted like a cheap, store-bought product. The lack of flavor and small portion of chicken were disappointing considering the high cost. I have tried many restaurants in Taunton, and this one was a letdown. I will not be returning.

The seafood salad was the freshest, crunchiest, and most delicious I have had in a while, paired perfectly with some delicious chips. I also enjoyed a great bottle of red wine at a reasonable price compared to other places in town. The service was excellent and unhurried, which was an added bonus.

However, when it arrived, it looked nothing like medium rare and was incredibly tough to cut and chew. It was a disappointing experience with no seasoning. My wife ordered a cheese pizza which seemed to be a small 7-inch store-bought pizza that tasted just like something you could buy at a supermarket. We were shocked at the lack of quality for the price we paid. The service was subpar as well, as we weren't asked once how our food was, despite leaving most of it on our plates. The crowd at the restaurant seemed to be mostly older individuals, and it's no surprise with the dull and unappetizing food they serve. Overall, I will not be returning to this restaurant and strongly believe it is in need of updates and improvements in their food quality. It's disappointing that a supposedly fancy French bistro is serving low-quality, store-bought food at high prices. I would recommend avoiding this place altogether.

The staff have never been less than friendly, but are very busy so do not spend a lot of time with you. Chris the owner when he has time he'll chat to you. A good selection of wines and beers. I miss this place now living in California.
