Kingfisher Chippy - Taunton

With not much choice in the area for fish and chips its a good job that the Kingfisher is up to par. Great portion sizes for the chips. The fish is excellent albeit a little pricey. Shame they don't do a special like other chippies. Never had a burger and the pies are just normal chip shop variety kept hot in the grill display. The curry sauce is very very strong and dark so not the best but we always get our chips from here. Service seems a little slow for a chippy but always friendly and the food is nice and hot. NOTE they only take cash. No cards which can be a bind.

We used the kingfisher for our wedding yesterday. Their portions were huge and they were still hot when we got them to the venue. All orders were correct and it was very tasty. No complaints from any of our guests. A massive thank you for making our big day stress free.

Had the burgers here loads of times never had a cold one and was really yummy! The chips are great wheneber I go in very friendly staff. Went in not long ago a young girl and boy was working good relationship with customers and they were very efficient. I'm very pleased with this chip shop!!Great good, staff are always friendly and quick. The good is great would deffo recommend going here

This place should just stick to plain old fish and chips. The burgers are pretty much just cooked off a bit and then heated up in a microwave. By the time i got home the burger was cold. Fish no complaints with whatsoever. Really nice batter. Everything other than fish and chips is not really very good/cooked well.
