read moreAlthough some guests were disappointed by limited drink options and frozen food, others found this country pub to be warm and welcoming, with delicious meals including vegetarian options. Guests praised the friendly staff and excellent service, with one customer even comparing the Thai red curry to their wife's homemade dish. The varied menu, fresh ingredients, and reasonable prices made this pub a top choice for a lovely evening out. With cozy surroundings, roaring fires, and outstanding food like steak and kidney pie, BBQ ribs, and duck with red wine sauce, this gem of a pub is a must-visit in the area.
