The Ale House - Taunton Deane

We came over this absolute jewel when we visit our friends who live in front of the place. we wanted to eat and drink something like we were just driven by poole and were in great western overnight. this place is literally only 5 minutes walk from the hotel. the friendly bar staff made us very welcome and eating is highly recommended. we come back to an april and will definitely visit here again.

Great pub, fab service, we were a big mixed group with adults and children. Good food really reasonably priced, nice space outside too. Would recommend .

Really friendly staff and a typical what I call after the game pub. Didn 't eat here so can 't comment on the food. Great place for a pint and a chat. Very enjoyable.

I'm just dipped into the ale house and looking for something to eat. menu looked good. but young we were surprised. I had a gammon steak and my husband had a share. When the plate came out, I knew I was there for a tasty bite. it was delicious. everything was cooked to perfection. my man was so tender that he didn't need his knife to cut it. we recommend to give them a visit, they will not be disappointed. we were left alone to enjoy are mealtime and had a good chat afterwards really friendly staff. a real tasty bite. we look forward to our next visit. robert and tracey xx
