Coffee N Cream - Taunton Deane

I visited a lovely and tidy café with welcoming staff. The menu catered well for children, and we enjoyed a tasty pizza and chips with salad. My coffee and baguette were also delicious, and I was grateful that my phone was found and returned to me after I accidentally left it behind. Thank you to the staff for their excellent service.

I called an early lunch today. the caffe is clean and refurbished. hygiene standards excellent, personal attention..my meal was immediately arrived and was well presented and delicious..set me for a Christmas shopping expedition.

Been going here since the 1980s when my grandparents were alive. The best bit it hasn’t changed one bit (apart from the addition of WiFi! Some may say dated but it’s important that some things do stay the same. It’s a familiar and comforting place for me whenever I visit Taunton and takes me back to a happy childhood. I get half an hour to reflect and ‘be’ in that happy place. Please please don’t change coffee and cream, I love the place exactly as it is! The food and drink is perfectly good, I always look forward to the selection of cakes (especially the marble crispie if they still do it! The atmosphere is warm and familiar with lots of ‘cosy corners’ and some have comfy sofa bench style seats. I know my reasons for 5 stars are mostly personal but it is genuinely a good coffee shop!! Go there or be square.

The staff and owner are very welcoming and make you feel like your having a meal at home. The food is great and the prices are affordable and the cakes and desserts are made by staff daily. They also have a toy area for the children and it is always clean, neat and tidy threw out the whole restaurant.

We had a great dining experience at our favorite restaurant during our shopping trip in Taunton. The staff was friendly, the prices were reasonable, and the menu had a nice variety of options. We both enjoyed delicious paninis and drinks. While it is located a little off the main road at the start/end of a shopping arcade, it is definitely worth a visit.
