Cafe Licious - Taunton Deane

Sadly not up to usual standard often go in when friends come and have the same liver meal which is usually lovely, but on this occasion it was terrible, the liver was well over cooked could hardly cut it, and veg were all but raw, far less than al dente,asked for water but none arrived and no one came and asked if meal was ok, which normally they always do, I wanted to complain but my friend said not too, sadly really put us off going again which is a shame

Absolutely superb. The food is fresh and tastes home made. We had scrambled egg on toast and egg mayonnaise sandwich. Judging by other tables portions are generous. Coffee was also great.

Very disappointed. Been told so much on how fantastic the food and staff are we...group of 5..... decided to have lunch here. Really looking forward to it after reading the reviews. Unfortunately no disabled access at all. The only door was locked and staff couldn 't find the key !! Then the manager (I think) appeared and looked at me in my wheelchair and asked 'can 't you get in there! '......umm its a step....a step I can 't do in a wheelchair. So no business from us today and somewhere I won 't go again or recommend.

We had stayed at the Wellington Travelodge, and found this cafe to come for breakfast. It was a really good breakfast and exceptional service and very friendly staff. Would definitely come back!!

Friendly staff served good food. The cafe is a tidy place and the food was good value. Would recommend.
