A lovely kitchen, clean food and great taste! They are a nonprofit place and all the money goes to the children in need. Visit this place if you want to taste good authentic food and also help the burmese youth! View all feedback.
We eat many times in Bamboo Garden during our stay in the foundation and we enjoyed it very much. Delicious and very afordable organic homemade food freshly prepared with the ingredients from their eco garden. The best thing: All the benefits of the restaurant are going to help foundation and the children that stay there.
A great vegetarian restaurant where you can sit outside for hours and just watch all the kids playing in the monastery. It's a good spot to stop on your way to the cave.
I've been a while in that corner over the weeks in Myanmar. I basically ate the whole Menu and recommend everything, especially the Shan-Noodles. Sometimes they have volunteers from all over the world as waiters, which was very fun. But mostly the Myanmar Cook makes this place worth visiting, She's a treasure!
It's a good and peaceful restaurant. I recommend the tea leaves salad and the eggplant potatoes curry.
Delicious Myanmar curries and Shan noodles made using vegetables grown in the monastery eco-farm. Get on a bicycle from Nyaung Shwe, visit the cave and do some trekking here and you'll have the best day of your whole stay.
