As always, one of the first courses to the Eiderstedter Krog. As usual, up. First painting: Matjes, picked and roasted. A poem. Look forward to Muttis Rouladen on Sunday. View all feedback.

We have made this experience with Wastl's most deceived place. As our tribals slipped over several floors by generations, it also went to other locals. Since we were curious about the fried Matjes, the Eiderstedter Krog offered itself. Our dear Wastl has already described the situation in his report in detail. I just want to add that this is the only place in Tating. On the straight road Garding and to St. Peter-Ording. It is easy to drive past the inconspicuous and simple brick building. Inviting it did not work with its flower window with curtains as from the 50s. The interior is well maintained and a somewhat strange mixture between old and modern. Worked on us as desired and not sent. The atmosphere of the guest room also radiates the charm of the 50s/60s and waits for his songs to be slept in the area of the singing club for green oak. It is a place where the local population celebrates their festivals. Don't be negative. Everything was well maintained. Only we didn't feel comfortable there. Operation not rude, but more than brittle and Wordcarg. We've known the Northern Lights for 30 years. The menu is very clear and the supplements are very practical. Hardly a dish where there is no vegetables as a supplement. For vegetarians three dishes are offered and that was it. It must not be required by regular guests. There is also a children's card. From 4.90 the youngster can be fed with some fat-keeping classics such as sauce Bolognaise with noodles, tails Nuggets with pommes etc. They put value at this point on old ones. We both took the Matjes variants with roast potatoes to 16.50. The additional salad came extra and cost 3.90. Whoever believes Martjes is Matjes who is wrong. The quality is also good and tasteful. Only the plastered matjes I would have wished a small bath in fresh water before, because it was extremely salty. The salad is pretty clear and tasteful ok. No way to cheer. The roast potatoes were also the normal average. The sauces on the fish were missing pepp in our eyes. A little fade. The eye usually bites. Here the eye took a break, because at the edge of the plate you could not call it. Not bad, but we're not coming back. Even Muttis Rouladen does not irritate us after the visit. Too bad.
