My wife and I love the orange chicken here, though be sure to get some rice along with it. An order of orange chicken with rice plus one order of spring rolls is enough for two people to have a great little lunch, unless you 're just used to stuffing yourself silly! That 's not to imply that the sizes of the dishes are small. In fact, the first time I got food from Garden Wok I assumed the dish sizes would be like mo... View all feedback.

I had been a long time customer since 2016. The last visit at this location was terrible. Myself and my friend were seated and food was prepared over 1.5 hours later of sitting and waiting. We were seated before 3 other parties and we were served last. The owner lied to us that the food was prepared as we were ready to walk out just so he can collect his money from walking away, we had every right to leave this place... View all feedback.
Just discovered this authentic Chinese Vegan place; very rare to find this good quality dishes in west LA. The place is clean and the owner is very nice. Will definitely come back again!
Absolutely incredible, hands down the best vegetarian food in LA. The consistency of the textures and flavors are incredible. Homemade fresh ingredients. Definitely a go to for Chinese. Favorite dishes includ the faux fish in hot bean sauce, faux orange chicken made of mushrooms, and the chicken drumsticks made from seitan.
Very delicious fresh and made to order! They are in my top 5 vegan restaurants!
This has to be the best vegan Chinese food in LA. I take all my vegan and non vegan friends here and everyone loves it. It's a mom pop shop that I hope stays open and in business for many years to come. They serve great food and the place feels like visiting relatives. The kind that love to feed you and don't ask too many questions.
The vegan fish here is absolutely phenomenal. They make it all by hand in-house, unlike other restaurants that order them. The broccoli beef looks just like real beef, and the texture is exactly like the most tender beef you 'd find in an authentic Chinese restaurant in Monterey Park or Sam Gabriel. The crispy crunch of the orange chicken is downright addictive--we could have ordered one for each of us. The depth in flavor of the humble vegetable fried flat rice noodles is astounding. This is achieved only with a high enough heat to release the wok 's breath . This place could charge twice as much for how authentic and skillfully made their dishes are. An unbelievable gem in a homely shopping center!
