Dined here while staying on the estate and had such high hopes based upon the reviews and website. Sadly, Goosefeathers didn't live up to the hype. The location is gorgeous, but our service,from the hostess on, lacked both friendliness and professionalism. Restaurant located at Tarrytown House, this place serves up a eclectic variety of Chinese fusion plates brought to the table in a Cantonese-style restaurant approach (they bring the family-shared dishes as they are ready). Food is a bit on a pricey side for the portions that are served but the flavors are unique. Cocktails and mocktails are great but service can be a bit slow especially at peak dinner times. We drove from manhattan and visited goosefeather and I would say it has great ambience, great foods and drinks!I would definitely come visit again.
