Passed by Mond... read more I am sorry, but this didn’t end well. I had oysters, calamari and anchovies; all was reasonably good. However, I ended up sick a few hours later. Passed by Monday to tell, but the restaurant was closed. Good service by the way. My wife had an entrecôte and both she and personnel forgot to agree on how to cook it; ended up a bit to raw for her taste Hope you fix the problem

For 4 tapas, 5 glasses of wine and 1 bottle of water we paid €53. The server was run off her feet but she did a great job and was helpful. The setting was really nice outdoors in a square in the old town. Definitely the nicest evening we've had on this holiday.

On a cold, windy day in Tarragona we were hoping to order some quick plates of tapas… an hour and 15 minutes later the food finally came. Drinks were speedy enough, however, after chasing them several times for our food and seemingly no attempt at speeding things up we had already gone through our 4 stages of hunger, frustration, anger, disappointment. We were in Tarragona for one afternoon and I am loathed to say that nearly two hours of our wintry afternoon was sat in the freezing cold waiting for poor service while watching the limited sunlight hours dwindle away. The food, when arrived, was nice enough, however, one of our croquettes had not been cooked all the way through and was cold in the centre. Had the food been exceptional, the wait might have been excusable, however, I have never waited so long for food at a restaurant before and I don’t plan on doing so again. If you have time to kill, this is the place for you. When leaving we did tell them how disappointed we were with the wait and we were told it’s because their fryer had broken down, which if this was the case, simply let us know and we could have gone somewhere else, rather than leave us in the cold shade for over an hour in anticipation of something that was yet to come.

The tapas was ok but having sampled the menus of other tapas restaurants, we did feel the tapas did let down the overall rating.

However we had to wait ages for... read more Went for lunch and ordered drinks and tapas. Drinks came and one dish arrived fairly quickly Lobster Salad which was delicious. However we had to wait ages for the other dishes and about 20mins later I had to go and see what was holding things up. Eventually the other dishes came but unfortunately my tortilla was under cooked and cod croquets mushy, I couldn't taste the cod. The pate was nice and came with querkins and tomatoes with a nice dressing. Our waiter was lovely but lunch took far longer than I would have expected given the dishes we ordered and the fact they weren't overly busy with people.
