A nice simple meal and drink and all very wholesome and fresh. Well presented by really nice staff. The place was neat clean and tidy and everyone pleasant. Coffee was excellent and the coke tasted like coke great!
Located adjacent to Tarragona’s main train station. Just walk out of the Estacion, look left, and it’s just across the road. We sat at a nicely shaded table, whilst a welcome breeze drifted up from the beach and across the tracks. With a booked train ride to Barcelona looming, we didn’t have a lot of time to spare, so the prompt lunchtime service was appreciated. At €9 for two courses it was very good value. The “Guiso de Patates y Carne” (stew with meat and potatoes) is highly recommended. It had gentle, yet wholesome flavours and a generous portion was served. My dining partner had a bread roll (bocadillo), which he enjoyed. This cafe also serves baked goods like croissants and doughnuts.
This is a lovely little cafe/bakery mid way between the Port and the Amphitheatre (when waking). We had lovely baguettes and awesome chocolate doughnuts which our children (5 2) loved! I'd recommend this quaint Cafe but be aware it needs a bit of updating and the choices seem limited. Lady at the counter did speak some English and was lovely!
