This place is great. it is about 10 km from tarifa on the coast road to cadiz. they cannot miss it as they begin to see the kites in the air about 2 minutes bef... read more This place is great. it is about 10 km from tarifa on the coast road to cadiz. they cannot miss it as they begin to see the kites in the air about 2 minutes before they left in a small sandy track called valdevaqueros. we went on a Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock and the main parking lot was full. the overrun parking costs 5 euro. then it is a short walk on the way to a beautiful surprise. they go through an arcade and they are in the outside sitting area with a really nice beach right in front of them the sky a mix of colors with all kites in the air. 2pm is Spanish midday so that the place was alive. there are seats, but most people are out. those who cannot eat can be on inflatables or the gras sitting right above the beach. steak and cold beer is very beautiful. the music is good. the atmosphere alive. most people eat in their swimwear and their very friendly. there is a mix of Spanish, English, German, scandanavian and not all interested in kitesurfing. when they go down to the beach, the wind dramatically picks up and keeps them cool (which can be dangerous in the heat!). which is also good at this place is that you will never be bored to look at the sky full of dragons. with the music, the beer and the scenery (a look at Morokko) and a beautiful beach I was sorry to go. worth visiting whether they are a kiter or like a good place to relax and enjoy. if you want to learn kitesurf there are many small schools left on the beach. beautiful place!
