It was my son’s Birthd... read more This restaurant could be SO amazing if it wasn’t for the most appalling attitude, service and front of house horror show in organisation. It was my son’s Birthday and we had attempted to book a few days in advance and my wife spoke with the owner who told us they didn’t do reservations (strict company policy) but we were reassured that if we arrived before 8pm on the day we would get a table. So my wife did that, we changed our plans to do as suggested, only to be told on the day they had changed “their policy” to now doing reservations and the restaurant was fully booked even before opening that day!!! So my wife told the owner how she felt about the situation, the owner gave a half hearted apology (as if he was annoyed about what my wife was telling him), and promised to have a table ready for us at 10pm. When we arrived at 10pm, people were at our table and we were told it could be another 30-45 minutes, no apologies, no sympathy, and told us that they were not going to rush them!!! Then to top it off the front of house lady suggested we go to another restaurant if we didn’t want to wait…..and finally we were told that we should go and get cash…as the restaurant was cash only….double mouth wide open moment!! With the prices they are charging why would you not accept cards unless you are dodging tax!! By the way the food is amazing and some of the best sushi we have ever had worldwide….such a shame!!

The... read more Incredible, impeccable, creative sushi. We asked Chef Roberto to make us an omakase and what we got was absolutely one of the best meals I have had, period. The fish was fresh, the presentation was beautiful, the flavors were impeccable, but what really blew me away was the creativity. Everything was taken to the next level and totally unique. The scallop and guanciale nigiri legitimately brought tears to my eyes. Chef Roberto trained at a 3 Michelin star restaurant and it shows. He is an incredibly talented and creative chef and was extremely helpful and gracious. The whole meal was a religious experience. 10/5 stars!!
