The situation right at the front of the beach means you are likely to be splashed as the waves hit the front of the terrace all part of the fun watching the last of the windsurfers. We had a drink on the terrace but sat inside as the wind was a bit cool. Settled on Paella which we have had many times in the past. Very disappointed with the food lacked taste and way too much rice and little else. We love paella and cook it ourselves much better. We were staying on the site so got 30% off the bill so it wasn’t too bad. Still a great view but shame about the food.

We trundled here this week in our motorhome and loved it. Stay at the campsite and go to the bar for sunset. You could be in the Caribbean. Sit outside, have a few drinks and tapas. The cangrejo is the best I've ever had. It's amazing with the waves smashing into the rocks not 4 metres away. Or eat inside, Menu del Dia has 12 starters, 12 mains and sweets, or go a la carte for extra large portions. If you not driving and like a good beer try the Red Vintage 8%, it's scrumpy and €1.75 a bottle if you are staying on the site. In fact you can save your site fees because you get a 30% discount if camping on the site. Cheers guys, be back soon. Nb: closed Tuesday and Wednesday between November and March.

Possibly because its not particularly easy to get to, having to either walk through the camping Torre de la Pena site, or along the stunning, white and windy beach, but we will now make more of an effort to come here again. Cute blue and white cafe bar with charming waitstaff, quiet music (no thumping dance music- hurrah! and tasty food, wish I was there now, looking out onto the gorgeous kingfisher blue sea with an icy glass of white wine! Also, very tidy, airy and clean, including the loos, very important!
