There are three restaurants on the beach directly on the hill of the Roman ruins and we chose this after our cultural visit mostly because the waitress was real... read more There are three restaurants on the beach directly on the hill of the Roman ruins and we chose this after our cultural visit mostly because the waitress was really friendly. we caught them when they opened and had an early lunch in the early sun, so it was pretty quiet. the menu is very unpretentious and lists many of the andalucían seafood favorites puntallitas, chocos fritos, sardinas, etc. it's an ordinary beach bar, neat business! the parking space is limited and the road is terrible, so I recommend you park in the village and to foot. the view over the ruins and the beach makes it worth it. the food was well prepared and fulfilled our expectations. I'd like to go back.
