Mr. Cosimo Sannino and his staff are, in my opinion, number 1 in this sector. We have had more than 1 reception in this place over the years, always satisfied. I will definitely be back! What Paolo Pichierri doesn't like about Girasole:
We had lunch here on a public holiday. We were served the appetizer immediately, really very good and plentiful. For the next courses, however, we had to wait more than 2 hours, in which we were told that the dishes would arrive soon. Unfortunately, 4 out of 6 first courses were almost completely tasteless. I went today with my family to celebrate the Immaculate Conception, the place is very nice, the starters plentiful and very good, but the service left something to be desired (and I was quite kind waiting almost two hours to have the first courses, seeing tables arrived after being served first. You could see that there were recommended tables which were served immediately by the waitress as she called them by name, who arrived after us and were already at dessert while we were waiting for the first courses! there were 7 of us and we weren 't able to eat the first courses together, because two paccheri with lobster arrived first, after 10 minutes two paccheri with boscaiola, when they had already finished two risottos arrived and when practically everyone had finished, mine arrived spaghetti with clams, strictly overcooked and only with the shells (I only found 4 clams! . When we made our complaints to the owner, he didn 't even bother to apologize, he justified himself by saying we are human ... much more appreciated were the two waiters who apologized for the enormous wait! It 's a shame because they had spoken well about it... I don 't recommend it due to the rudeness of the person in charge! I give the service one star only for the kindness of the two service staff!
