I read a couple of ordinary reviews and was uncertain .. We had delicious food here. Recommended . Had great stir fry, noodle dish and green curry. Thanks to the chef and her cute son who took our takeaway order
The chilli basil doesn't have chilli in it like it's the main part of the meal and it's was alll beef barely any vegetables. Don't recommend
We found a menu for Thai Tarni at the motel we were staying and my husband was intrigued by some of the dishes so we opted to eat there for dinner. There was only 1 other couple there when we arrived so we were a bit dubious as to how good the food was going to be, especially as it was a Friday night. We started off with the share platter. The best thing was the stuffed chicken wings. The fish cake was rubbery and the spring rolls were tasteless. For mains I had the crispy chicken in tamarind sauce and my husband had the fish curry. Both were very good. We also had a large bowl of rice but should have gotten the small. Service was quick but not friendly. Also it was a windy, wet night and the front door was left open but no heating turned on. It seemed popular with the locals who were coming to pick up their take-aways.
They will not be disappointed if they are looking for cheap Thai food, while the entrée was good (but keeping calamari clear), the netzens were very thorough. our group of four had the same impression that the waitress wanted it to be somewhere different....I ordered Satay chicken from the menu "stir fry." it consisted of four or five pieces steamed chicken with half a cup steamed vegetables covered with peanut sauce, accompanied by a bunny rice that was turned somewhere long enough on the top side ( Personally, I would give extra to be authentic thai served by someone who is grateful that they have a job.
