Rivz Cafe - Taree

We had the fortunate pleasure of discovering Rivz Cafe, whilst staying at Discovery Parks Forster. (another great place) We were warmly welcomed by the hard working, friendly owner staff and enjoyed a delicious dinner breakfast that were very generous sized portions and great value. Thank you Rivz cafe. We will be back.

Beside the Wallambah River, the outlook for this cafe is lovely. The people watching is great too as it serves the surrounding caravan park. Sadly the food isn't the great right now. My companion ordered raisin toast with her coffee and realised that it had been cooked in a French Press. I had the only gluten free option available which was very nice. You should think of this as a milk bar/ take away with some nice tables outside. It's very sandy at the entrance area so access wouldn't be easy for everyone. I didn't see toilets but you'd need to ring and clarify. Also the tables and chairs are iron or wooden bench types so they won't suit everyone.

Great service, beautiful food, perfect location! Great little cafe menu on top of the old favourites burgers, fish and chips etc. We had the chicken crepe, came with chips and salad; chicken avocado sundried tomato Turkish melt with chips on side; and fantastic works hamburger. Great coffee using the delicious Holy Goat coffee beans. All fresh and under $50 for all 3 people meals and drinks!

Lovely venue, great menu, food delish, beautiful views. Friendly staff, a must visit !!
