What User doesn't like about Taralga Hotel Restaurant:
Four of us (two couples) drove up from Canberra. The pub is pleasant without being great. We had 2 t-bones ($25 each), a chicken schnitzel and a spaghetti bolognese (under $20 each). The servings were large. The food was OK but not great. The pub looks very nice from the outside, and was OK inside. All in all, a pleasant outing but no one of the better country pubs. Taralga is an attractive little town with some of the original buildings still standing. Well worth a stop on your way to (or from) somewhere else. The hotel is a typical small town bar, which serves good home-cooking. My lamb shanks were tender and tasty. My husband's steak was cooked exactly as he had asked for it, and was big enough to serve 2/ View all feedback.
