This restaurant is delicious with a great atmosphere. I loved my blue corn shrimp tacos and my partner couldn't stop talking about the burro bowl. The sangria was also fantastic! View all feedback.
What Kevin M doesn't like about El Conejo Cocina:
This place was a little odd. The service, interactions between the staff, and food was mediocre. Regarding the food, we started off with ceviche. This was really good! However it was not much. The enchilada was good but nothing new. Not worth the 30 minute for food. Finally the open floor does not allow for much privacy between interactions between the servers and the line cooks. The restaurant was a bit busy because other places were closed for lunch, but we didn't mind waiting. We loved sitting outside on the second floor patio with a beautiful view. The waitress was very busy but still did a great job taking care of everyone. The Apache beef taco meal was delicious!
My partner and I (locals) decided to stop here after we drove up and down the town looking for street tacos. We sat outside and it was the perfect atmosphere. Mild volume music, beautiful views and incredibly nice waitstaff. I ordered the grilled fish tacos and my partner got the steak tacos. Honestly this is now my top favorite place in town. The food was so fresh and hot. I will be bringing my friends here when they visit.
We tried this restaurant as a family. I am so glad we did. The flavor of every single dish was very good. The pineapple water and horchata were delicious. If you are wanting to try some of the best local cuisine, this is definitely worth a try.
The food was fantastic, delicious, and they were very accommodating to our specific order. Definitely check them out - you won't be disappointed!
Good quality ingredients with your order made fresh. Limited, but varied menu. Does not currently have a liquor license.
