One of the best restaurants in this area is Restaurant Populaire, where for less than 5 euros per person, we can enjoy a good meal with skewers, tagines, cous cous, and more. They have limited indoor seating, so most people eat on the outdoor terrace, which can sometimes be noisy with passing crowds depending on the day.

Our menu included: fish soup, grilled squid, olives, spicy pepper sauce, bread, toasted almonds and walnuts, a platter with three different types of grilled fish, figs and watermelon for dessert, and sweet home-made honey. The only downside for those who are not fans of spices like myself is that even the fish has a hint of turmeric flavor. The staff was lovely and friendly.
